5 Benefits of Having a Companion
1. Companions offer meaningful conversation, emotional support, and social interaction. This is crucial for mental and emotional well-being, especially for the elderly or those living alone.

2. Companions can manage light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, and other errands, making daily life more comfortable and manageable.

3. Knowing that a loved one has consistent support at home gives family members reassurance, and reduces their caregiving burden or stress.

4. With practical and emotional support, individuals often maintain more independence, feel more confident at home, and enjoy a better overall standard of living.

5. Companions can assist with transportation to medical appointments, social outings, or grocery shopping, promoting independence and mobility.

Introducing Lisa, our founder!
With a history of dental nursing and being a physiotherapy assistant/healthcare support worker, Lisa has always been involved with patient care however, both jobs are often clinical and time-limited.
She felt drawn to combine her current work with an additional role in which she could form longer, more personal and emotionally meaningful relationships with clients/patients.
With her background, Lisa has had a first-hand insight into the isolation and emotional needs of the elderly or those recovering from illness/injury. This has inspired her to address a gap in holistic care, providing companionship rather than just medical or care services.
